Silent Spring je monolitická koláž, na které Fokular a Talk=Trouble společně nárazově pracovali v průběhu uplynulých dvou let. Ten čas pro oba charakterizovaly občasné útěky do přírody mimo paralyzovanou civilizaci. Tou dobou slavila 50 let od vydání zásadní kniha Rachel Carson varující před úbytkem biodiverzity, k jejímuž názvu odkazuje titul alba - Tiché jaro. Katastrofu podle ní předznamenává ticho a tento princip se otisknul i do nahrávky.

Fokular and Talk=Trouble worked together on this monolithic collage intermittently during the past two years, which for both were characterized by occasional escapes into nature and the search for a sense of freedom outside of paralyzed civilization. At that time, Rachel Carson's seminal book warning of the loss of biodiversity, to which the title of the album refers - Silent Spring, was celebrating 50 years since its publication. According to her, silence foreshadows disaster, and this principle is also reflected in the recording.
